Inverter Technology

Inverter technology refers to the compressor within the outdoor unit of the air conditioner. The two most common types of compressors are the fixed speed compressor and the variable speed (inverter) compressor. The fixed speed will run at 100% of its capacity and will stop and start automatically to maintain the desired temperature. An inverter compressor will vary its speed in order to maintain a consistent temperature.

Allergy Reduction filter

The Allergy reduction filter comprises of an enzyme that helps break down allergens when the air passes through the filter. The allergens cling to the filter and the enzyme breaks down the allergens protein to help deactivate the allergen.

Durable Coating

LG's Gold Fin is an anti corrosion coating on the surface of the heat exchanger. This ensures that the surface is more resistant to corrosion and increases the durability to help the exchanger perform like new for a much longer period.

Powerful Air Throw

Keep cool this summer with our new larger fans that allow you to experience the air up to 12 metres away in the right conditions! This means that cooling is fast and powerful, allowing you to feel comfortable sooner, as the cool air reaches you.

Quiet Operation

The indoor units have a low noise level of 29dB when in sleep mode. This gives you greater peace of mind when things need to be quiet or you are sleeping. (Different houses will experience different noise levels because of a variety of reasons.) Test Condition Note *Sound Pressure Level is measured according to KSC9306 in LG anechoic chamber. *Sleep mode operated during cooling mode with low fan speed. *Air volume is measured with Optimal vane Condition in LG Calorimeter chamber.

Optimised two way airflow for cooling and heating

For cooling, the vane is adjusted upwards to let the cold air reach a wider area. As for heating, the vane sends the heated air downwards to heat the space from the floor up for a more effective and balanced room temperature.

Auto Clean

A main cause of air conditioner odors is mould and bacteria that breed in the heat exchanger. The Auto Clean function dries the wet heat exchanger to help prevent mould and bacteria from breeding thus significantly reducing the mildew odors and saves you from frequent cleaning.

Step Control

The direction of the horizontal vane can be adjusted from step 1 to step 6 and full auto swing. This function can cool specific areas much faster.

With a wider range of temperature modes for heating and cooling, the inverter is able to operate in even the most extreme outdoor temperatures. An inverter compressor can also operate faster than non-inverter air conditioners thus allowing the air conditioner to reach the set temperature faster and bring you comfort sooner.

More Comfortable

When the air conditioner is initially activated to either heat or cool, the compressor will operate at maximum speed to reach the desired temperature quickly. Once the desired temperature is achieved, unlike non-inverter air conditioners that turn the compressor on and off, LG inverter units adjust and constantly vary the compressor speed to maintain the desired temperature with minimal fluctuation to ensure that your comfort is not compromised.
