How can we help?

Description

A wood heater cowl is placed on top of the flue (outside). The cowl is designed to allow the smoke to escape but not allow rain down the flue.

The standard cowl is also used if you have an inbuilt fire (chimney), A flat chimney plate is used and the cowl attached (see pic 2)

If you have a triple skin flue installation, the cowl also acts to seal the second and third skin from any rain penetration.

The cowl is attached to the outer skin to prevent it being dislodged during high winds.
