Check the gas cylinder for signs of damage and/or rust.
remember an LPG cylinder must not be more than 10 years old. If it is, have it tested or replace it with a new one.

If you can hear or smell gas, check the LPG cylinder valves, regulator and all connections. To test for leaks, apply soapy water to all connections.
If there is a leak bubbles will appear.
Tighten connections and test again, if it continues, replace part with new.
