Prawns with Lemon & Garlic

Preparation & Cooking Time: 5 min
Serves: 4-6 people


1Kg of Large green (uncooked) prawns


  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 2 spring onions finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • lemon quarters to serve


1.Shell and devein prawns. Mix remaining ingredients ina glass or ceramic bowl and stir in prawns. Allow to
marinate for 10 minutes.

2.Cook prawns on a lightly oiled and preheated BBQ
plate (griddle) with heat on high. Toss prawns untilthey start to curl up and become opaque
(approximately 5 minutes).
