Stainless Steel Bends/Offsets

Stainless steel bends for wood heater flues.

Although we would prefer to install a straight flue from the heater through the roof to the atmosphere, its not allways possible. We may encounter structures that prevent this straight installation. By using two stainless steel bends we can often use them to “go around” the obstacle.

We only recommend two bends in a wood heater installation.

Once the flue enters the roof space, it is always encased in outer skins to prevent the hot flue from touching any combustible materials. Heatworks only use “triple skin flue”. That is one active stainless steel flue and two galvanised outer casings.
